Fastest swim long course 100 metres breaststroke (male)

According to Official Guinness Records,

The fastest long course swim in the 100 metres breaststroke (male) is 57.13 seconds, achieved by Adam Peaty (UK) at the 2016 Summer Olympics, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on 7 August 2016.Adam broke his own world record twice during the games, the first came in the heats with a time of 57.55 seconds. The second was in the final where he claimed the gold medal.
