The longest marathon playing field hockey is 56 hours, 18 minutes and 45 secs and was achieved by Chelmsford Hockey Club (UK) in Essex, UK, from 1 to 4 July 2016. The attempt beat the previous holders record by over 3 hours 48 minutes.
