According to Official Guinness Records,

The fastest marathon in scout uniform is 2 hr 58 min 44 sec and was achieved by Mark Lambell (UK), at the 2016 Virgin Money London Marathon, in London, UK, on 24 April 2016.Mark prepared for the marathon by going on daily runs, he wanted to prove scouts can do more than sit around camp-fires and tie knots.
