Longest French knitting

According to Official Guinness Records,

The longest french knitting measures 31.42 km (19 mi 929 yd) and was created by Edward Hannaford (UK) in Sittingbourne, UK, as verified on 12 April 2016. Mr Hannaford first developed his passion for French knitting, which is done on a spool with four nails to produce a narrow length of wool, in 1989. His colourful rope has taken more than two decades to complete and is still growing.
