According to Official Guinness Records,

The most pull ups in 12 hours is 5,742 and was achieved by Andrew Shapiro (USA), in Great Falls, Virginia, USA, on 14 May 2016.Andrew attempted the record during the American Cancer Society’s Langley McLean Relay for Life event in McLean, Virginia, USA. Over $7,000 was raised for the American Cancer Society as a result of the event, in which Andrew also set the records for the Most pull ups in 6 hours and in 24 hours.
