Most consecutive Formula 1 races led

According to Official Guinness Records,

The most consecutive Formula 1 races led is 18 and was achieved by Lewis Hamilton (UK) from 27 July 2014 to 5 July 2015.Hamilton broke the record set in 1970 by Jackie Stewart, who led 17 straight races for at least one full lap. His run came to an end at the Hungarian Grand Prix – despite being in pole position, he was overtaken during the first lap by eventual race winner Sebastian Vettel.
