Most concurrent viewers of a gaming livestreaming service

According to Official Guinness Records,

On 27 January 2017, ELeague's channel on Twitch counted a peak figure of 1.026 million concurrent viewers during the grand final of the ELeague Major Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament. Fans were watching Poland's Virtus.pro and Denmark's Astralis slug it out in the game's tenth "Major" in Fox Theatre in Atlanta, USA, with Astralis eventually taking the title after achieving an "unreal comeback" according to Mashable. The site subsequently described the match as "one of the most exciting in history". Despite the viewing figures, the match was still not the most combined concurrent viewers for a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament. Major League Gaming’s 2016 Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Major Championship (CS:GO Major) peaked with 1.6 million concurrent viewers in 30 March–3 April 2016.
