The largest display of chalk pavement art consists of 811 drawings, and was created by the citizens of Indianapolis in an attempt organised by Keep Indianapolis Beautiful and It’s My City (both USA) as a part of Indy DO Day in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, on 28 September 2017.The theme of the artwork in the display was "Keeping Indy Clean and Beautiful." The display stretched over three-quarters of a mile of Indianapolis' famous Cultural Trail. A team of hundreds of volunteers, many from Eli Lilly & Company, created the display in 2 hours, 27 minutes, 37 seconds. Keep Indianapolis Beautiful and It's My City broke this record title as part of Indy DO day, a long weekend of volunteerism in Indianapolis to encourage residents to keep their city "clean, green and beautiful."
