Longest running weekly radio programme (same host)

According to Official Guinness Records,

The longest running radio programme with the same host has run for 70 years and 291 days, achieved by Folksong Festival and host Oscar Brand (Canada), with the first broadcast on 9 December 1945 and the final broadcast occuring 24 September 2016.Oscar passed away on September 30, 2016. His programme on WNYC Radio showcased a number of influential folk musicians, and among his many accomplishments was a personal Peabody Award presented "for more than 50 years in service to the music and messages of folk performers and fans around the world".
