Smallest crocodilian hatchlings

According to Official Guinness Records,

The smallest hatchlings produced by any species of crocodilian are those of the Chinese alligator Alligator sinensis, which also lays the smallest crocodilian eggs. Mean hatchling size has been recorded at 20–21 cm total length and 30 g in weight.Based on the weight of the eggs measured at the beginning of the incubation period, neonates weighed between 58% and 64% of initial egg mass. Bearing in mind that – owing to predation – newly hatched alligator mortality is high, the Chinese alligator surprisingly produces only relatively small clutches (of 20–30 eggs), but in proportion to this species' body size its clutch size is actually larger than that of many other crocodilian species.
