The oldest competitive canoeist is Avis Noott (b. 24 June 1938, UK) who at 77 years, 256 days old competed in Dulverton, UK, as verified by British Canoeing on 27 May 2016The competition Avis competed in was on 6th March 2016.Avis is ranked for competition in British Canoe Slalom as a Division 3 Veteran in Women’s Kayak. She travels to competitions and events in her camper van.
