According to Official Guinness Records,
The most wins of the World Snail Racing Championships by an individual is two and was achieved by Thomas Vincent (UK) at Congham, United Kingdom, in 1998 and 2000.Thomas Vincent was just 8 years old when he won his first title with a snail called Schumacher. He kept snails in a tank in his garden in Norfolk. Thomas also "trained" Eddie Irvine who won the 2000 championships. At the age of 15 Thomas retired from the sport of snail racing, claiming that he was too old for it. In 2004 he became the first person to set the record for "most snails on face" when he kept seven on his face for 10 seconds (as of 2010 the record was 43!).
