Most tries scored in Rugby Union World Cup tournaments

According to Official Guinness Records,

The most tries scored by an individual player in Rugby World Cup tournaments is 15 and was first achieved by Jonah Lomu (New Zealand) in the 1995 and 1999 competitions. This feat was equalled by Bryan Habana (South Africa) during the 2007, 2011 and 2015 tournaments.Habana scored a hat-trick against the USA in the Olympic Stadium, London, UK, to equal Jonah Lomu's record. In 2007, he scored eight tries, in 2011 just two and in 2015 he crossed the line five times. His victims are Samoa (six), USA (five), Argentina (two), Scotland and Naimbia (one). Jonah Lomu scored seven in 1995 and eight in 1999. His first seven international tries were all in the 1995 World Cup when New Zealand made the final. His victims are England (five), France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, Tonga (two).
