According to Official Guinness Records,

The most people painting figurines is 1,632 and was achieved by Country Garden Park One (China) in Tangshan, Hebei, China, on 17 June 2018.In total, 1,737 people participated in the attempt, with 105 people discounted for not following the guidelines, which left the final number of 1,632.
