According to Official Guinness Records,

The most people husking corn is 3,463 and was achieved at an event organised by the University of Illinois (USA) in Memorial Stadium, Urbana–Champaign, Illinois, USA, on 24 August 2012. The annual record attempt during the University of Illinois freshman class convocation is becoming part of the school tradition following the successful attempt to create the largest smoothie in 2011.
