According to Official Guinness Records,

The largest collection of cookie jars belongs to Edith Eva Fuchs (USA) and consists of 2,653 as of 20 August 2012, in Metamora, Indiana, USA.
The collection started in 1988 and her favourite cookie jar is Roy Rogers on his horse Trigger.
