According to Official Guinness Records,

The most people hand-washing fabric simultaneously (single location) is 2,600 and was achieved by Ariel (India) in Madhya Pradesh, India, on 27 June 2016. All the participants had to hand wash continuously for 5 minutes in order to set this record.
