Most nationalities in a tug of war tournament

According to Official Guinness Records,

The most nationalities in a tug of war tournament is 50 and was achieved at an event organised by Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University Alumni Association, Okada Yoshinobu, Abe Chiyomi and Maehara Hironobu (all Japan) in Beppu, Oita, Japan, on 1 November 2014. There are students from over 80 different countries enrolled at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University. This record attempt allowed to showcase and make the most of the University's diversity.
