According to Official Guinness Records,

The most glyphs in a typeface is 748,811, and the typeface, called Reimin, was created by Morisawa Inc. (Japan) and released on 1 September 2011.
Morisawa Inc. is a digital type foundry in Japan. “Reimin” consists of 34 different weights.
