Highest partnership for any wicket in a One-Day International (male)

According to Official Guinness Records,

Chris Gayle and Marlon Samuels (both Jamaica) compiled a record One-Day International (ODI) stand of 372 runs during an ICC World Cup match between the West Indies and Zimbabwe at the Manuka Oval in Canberra, Australia, on 24 February 2015. The pair came together when Dwayne Smith was out to the second ball of the West Indies innings, and the 298-ball partnership was broken only when Gayle was dismissed for 215 - the highest individual score at the ICC World Cup - off the final ball of the innings. Samuels was undefeated on 133.
The previous record ODI stand was 331, between India's Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid against New Zealand at Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium, Hyderabad, Deccan, India, on 8 November 1999. The previous record stand in an ICC World Cup match was 318, between India's Rahul Dravid and Sourav Ganguly at the County Ground in Taunton, Somerset, UK, on 26 May 1999. The 372-run Gayle-Samuels partnership was not only an ODI record but the highest stand in any List A match (domestic one-day matches below international level). The West Indies' innings total of 372 for 2 was the fifth highest at the ICC World Cup. With Dwayne Smith dismissed off the second ball of the West Indies innings and Gayle caught off the final ball, the partnership between Gayle and Samuels survived for an ODI record 298 balls (the previous record was 278). The longest ODI partnership possible is 300 balls, for opening batsmen who face all 50 six-ball overs without being dismissed. The Pool B day/night match was the 15th match of the 2015 Cricket World Cup, hosted by Australia and New Zealand. West Indies (372 for 2) beat Zimbabwe (289 all out) by 73 runs to claim two points and their second win of the tournament.
