First drum controller for home consoles

According to Official Guinness Records,

First appearing in Japanese arcades in 2001 as Taiko no Tatsujin (pictured above), the first drum peripheral to make it into gamer’s homes was a version for the PS2 entitled Taiko no Tatsujin: Tatakon de Dodon ga Don. Like the arcade original, Tatakon de Dodon ga Don required players to strike the skin or the rim of a drum peripheral in time to scrolling notes on the screen.
