Fastest run 400 metres (female)

According to Official Guinness Records,

On 6 October 1985, East German athlete Marita Koch won the World Cup 400 m in 47.60 seconds at the Bruce Stadium in Canberra, Australia. Since Koch’s record-breaking run, no other female athlete has broken the 48-second barrier, as of April 2017.
