The fastest rocket-powered model car with an impulse of 10 N.s impulse travels at a speed of 255.39 km/h (158.69 mph) and was achieved by the Joseph Whitaker School Young Engineers (UK) at Newark Showground, UK, on 20 July 2015. The record was broken as part of an after-school engineering club, where the members designed their own cars around the Estes C6-0 rocket motor.
