According to Official Guinness Records,
The fastest double-deck lift (elevator) travels at 36.0 km per hour (22.3 mph), achieved by high-speed elevator NexWay designed by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (Japan) and installed at Shanghai Tower Unit from 8X-1 to 4 and Unit from 6X-1 to 4 (China), on 27 October 2015. This record is co-held by Otis Elevator Company (USA) which manufactured double-deck lift travelling at the same speed for Burj Khalifa (UAE), Ping An Finance Center (China) and Lotte World Tower (South Korea).It is installed in the 632 m (2,073 ft 5 in) tall Shanghai Tower, and travels 121 stories.
