The deepest underground broadcast of a TV programme took place 501.28 metres (1,644 ft 7.39 in) below ground and was achieved by "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" (Germany), in Merkers - Kieselbach, Germany, on 13 April 2016.The German TV show took place in the Erlebnisbergwerk Merkers.
