According to Official Guinness Records,
On 5-6 July 1986 the North London Society of Model Engineers team at the ARRA club in Southport, Merseyside achieved a 24-hour distance record of 492.364 km (305.949 miles) for a 1:32 scale car, a Rondeau M482C Group C Sports car, built by Ian Fisher. Other team members were Chris James, Alan Lucas, Paul Harwood and Paul Martin.
This was under the rules of the B.S.C.R.A (British Slot Car Racing Association).
