Oldest spider gossamer

According to Official Guinness Records,

Encased in amber formed approximately 140 million years ago during the Cretaceous Period, as revealed in 2009 the world’s oldest spider cobweb was found on a beach at Bexhill, East Sussex, by brothers Jamie and Jonathan Hiscocks, who are amateur fossil hunters. Its silk is also the world’s oldest specimen of spider gossamer, and this remarkable specimen is currently being studied by scientists at Oxford University.
