Oldest known surviving photograph

According to Official Guinness Records,

The earliest known surviving photograph was taken by Joseph Niépce (1765–1833), in 1827 using a camera obscura;it shows the view from the window of his home. Rediscovered by Helmut Gernsheim in 1952, it is now in the Gernsheim Collection at the University of Texas, Austin, USA.
