Oldest active lifeguard

According to Official Guinness Records,

The oldest active lifeguard is Louis Demers (USA, b. 3 September 1923) of Quincy, Illinois, USA, who at the age of 88 years, 6 months, and 4 days has been an active lifeguard since 1954. Louis has been employed with Quincy based YMCA for over 16 years and has completed all the required qualifications as a senior lifeguard. He has successfully renewed his training and qualifications over set terms during his career.
