Most powerful laser by output

According to Official Guinness Records,

On 27 July 2015, researchers at Osaka University, Osaka, Japan, fired the Laser for Fast Ignition Experiments (LFEX) for one trillionth of a second at a power of 2 petawatts. The LFEX is 100 m in length. Because the firing of the laser was so short, the energy in the beam itself was only enough to run a microwave oven for around two seconds. The team at Osaka is eventually planning on constructing a 10-petawatt laser. 2 petawatts is 2,000,000,000,000,000 watts.
