Most powerful gas turbine-electric locomotive

According to Official Guinness Records,

The most powerful gas turbine-electric locomotive is the russian GT1-001 with a maximum capacity of 8300 kW. The locomotive was tested in Shcherbinka, Russia, on 23 January 2009. The locomotive has a starting tractive effort of 883 kN and a steady pull of 620 kN. It weighs 300 tons (600,000 lbs) and is designed for speeds up to 100 km/h (62.14 mph). It has a fuel capacity of 17 tons (3,4000 lbs) and runs on liquefied natural gas. It has a cruising range of 750 km (466.03 miles) without topping up. During the testing one locomotive hauled a a rake of 159 weighing 15000 tons (30,000,000 lbs)
