The most people wearing sock puppets simultaneously in a single venue is 365, organised by Ian McIntosh (Australia), in Townsville, Queensland, Australia, on 20 August 2016. Ian McIntosh's event took place in conjunction with the launch of his children's picture book 'Silly Socks, Sleepy Socks'.
