According to Official Guinness Records,

The most people transplanting seedlings is 2,683, and was achieved at an event organised by Maruvom Mattruvom, Sathyabama University and Transindia Wow Celebration (all India) in Tamil Nadu, India, on 29 August 2017.Participants planted 5366 seedlings.
