According to Official Guinness Records,

The most people making sandwiches simultaneously is 2,586 and was achieved by TangoTab and Friends (USA), at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas, USA, on 27 February 2016. All sandwiches and other food donated at the event was for the benefit of several local food banks and charities. TangoTab and Friends previously set a record in this category in February 2014.
