Most Oscar winning generations According to Official Guinness Records,
The only family to contain three generations of Oscar winners are the Hustons (all USA). Walter Huston (1884 - 1950) won Best Supporting Actor for The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (USA 1948). His son John (1906 - 1987) won Best Director for the same film and John's daughter Angelica (b.8 July 1951) won best Supporting Actress for Prizzi's Honour (USA 1985).
