Most expensive rice

According to Official Guinness Records,

The most expensive rice costs $109 USD (‎¥11,304 JPY, £82 GBP) per kilogram, and was sold by Toyo Rice Corporation (Japan) in Tokyo, Japan, on 30 June 2016. The rice consists of 6 types of rice which received golden awards at International Contest on Rice Tastes Evaluation in 2015 and was named “The World’s Best Rice”. The rice was sold 840g per package for 9,496 JPY (excluding shipping fee and tax) through Toyo Rice Corporation’s website and 2 packages were purchased on 30 June 2016.
