According to Official Guinness Records,

With five commercially released games for Nintendo DS and three Japan-only Game Boy Advance titles, the Ace Attorney franchise boasts more entries than any other handheld point n click adventure game series. However, the hugely successful Professor Layton series appears to be a likely contender for this record in the near future, with four releases over the last three years.
