According to Official Guinness Records,

The longest videogame marathon on a fighting game is 57 hr 0 min, achieved by Daniel Bergman (Canada) at After Dark Lounge in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, from 17 to 20 August 2016. Daniel played Super Smash Bros for his record-breaking playing marathon. He dedicated his attempt to supporting and raising funds for Geekdom House.
