According to Official Guinness Records,

The largest vessel water skied /wake boarded behind is the AIDAbella operated by captain Josef Husmann (Germany) with a gross tonnage of 69,203. Galileo TV reporter Jan Schwiderek (Germany) successfully water-skied for six minutes 25 seconds at 14 knots (26 km/h, 16 mph) behind the ship outside of Alicante, Spain, on 1 October 2010.
