According to Official Guinness Records,

The largest toy pistol fight consists of 2,289 participants and was achieved by Jared’s Epic NERF Battle (USA), at AT&T Stadium, in Arlington, Texas, USA, on 12 March 2016.The participants used at least 4,394 individual NERF blasters during the fight. The purpose of the event was to raise money for Rebuild Rowlett Foundation for Long Term Relief, administered by the Rowlett Chamber of Foundation, and Garland Tornado Relief Fund (Communities Foundation of Texas, Inc.).Full story: Record-breaking NERF Battle in Texas benefits local charities
