The largest serving of ratatouille/pisto is 1,254 kg (2,764.6 lb) and was achieved by Ayuntamiento de Villanueva de los Infantes (Spain), in Villanueva de los Infantes, Ciudad Real, Spain, on 4 September 2016. For the last 13 years, the council of Villanueva de los Infantes (Spain) has been preparing a giant Pisto Manchego in order to promote the vegetables grown locally and to bring tourism to the area.
