Largest pom-pom

According to Official Guinness Records,

The largest pom-pom measured 2.29 m (7.52 ft) high, 3.39 m (11 ft 1 inch) in diameter, 8.67 m (28 ft 5 inch), and was created by the children, parents and teachers of the John Paul II Private Catholic Schools, Pruszcz Gdanski, Pomorskie Voivodeship, Poland, on 30 January 2015. Students aged 7-16 of John Paul II Private Catholic Schools took part in crafting the worlds' largest pom pom, as an opportunity for the students to work and play together, with the ultimate goal of using a huge amount of yarn to create seats for the children's hospice.
