Largest parade of utes

According to Official Guinness Records,

The largest parade of legally registered 'utes' (utility vehicles unique to Australia) took place on 2 October 1999 at Deniliquin, New South Wales, Australia when 2,839 gathered for the inaugural Play on the Plains festival. Utes, an abbreviation of 'utilities', were originally developed during the depression era, when banks refused to lend money to the rural community for personal luxuries and included cars into this category. Ford and General Motors-Holden based the vehicles on a car chassis, modified so that the back served as a work vehicle and the front retained the features of a family car.
