Largest foreign object left in a patient

According to Official Guinness Records,

Meena Purohit (India) underwent a caesarean section to deliver her daughter on 1 July 1989 during which surgeons left a pair of artery forceps measuring 33.02 cm (13 in) long, in her abdomen. They remained undiscovered until an exploratory laparotomy was performed on 3 September 1993. A month after the birth, she complained of stomach pains for which she was prescribed pain killers. X-rays prior to the surgery show one of the forceps points having been broken during the 4 years.
