The world´s largest drillships are the Discoverer Enterprise, Discoverer Spirit and Discoverer Deep Seas, each of which displaces 103,000 tonnes. The vessels are owned by Transocean Inc. (USA) and are capable of drilling in over 3,050 m (10,000 ft) of water, and to overall depths of 10,650 m (35,000 ft). The ships are 255 m (835 ft) long and 38 m (125 ft) wide.
