The largest composite photograph exhibition consisted of 81,663 photographs and was achieved by Clare Newton (UK) as part of London & Partners’ World Record London. It was unveiled in the Excel Centre in London, UK, on 1 June 2012. Clare's photographs, which were all her own original work, totalled 675.67 Gigabytes digitally. The theme of the exhibition was 'Jump4London' in which she asked her subjects to jump. Some subjects included Sooty and Sweep, Kickboxers, war veterans and sports teams playing sitting volleyball. 1,160 jumpers participated. 50 litres of ink was used and the whole display took 70 hours to print. 3500 cable wires were used in construction and the end display was 979.12 metres in length! In accordance with the guidelines, she chose to display them in one long photograph, although this photograph wasn't seamless. The composite photographs were formed by combining, cutting and joining two or more separate photographs, but each photo used was unique.
