Largest collection of penguin-related items

According to Official Guinness Records,

Birgit Berends (Germany) had amassed a collection of 11,062 different penguin-related items, as of 14 March 2011.
Birgit started her collection at the age of 18, inspired by the animated series Pingu, although her very first penguin dates back to her days in elementary school.
