Largest chinowa

According to Official Guinness Records,

The largest chinowa measured 11 m (36 ft 1 in) in diameter and was made by Aichiken Gokokujinjya (Japan) in Nagoya, Aichi, Japan, on 28 June 2009. Chinowa is a large ring made of cogon grass and erected on the pathway leading to Shinto shrines on the days of purification of the last day of the sixth or seventh month. Worshipers at the shrine pass through the ring as an act of purification from misdeeds, impurities, or bad luck.
