Largest area covered by floating ferns

According to Official Guinness Records,

The largest recorded area of water entirely covered by the same fern, red Azolla japonica, measured 9,685 m² (104,284 ft ²), when measured in January-June 2000. The fern was floating on the Furukawa-Sawanoike Pond, Kasuga Town, Japan.
