Largest human image of a Chinese character/kanji

According to Official Guinness Records,

The largest human image of a Chinese character consists of 3,128 people and was achieved by Xi’an Ziwei Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. (China) in Xi’an, Shaanxi, China, on 1 January 2017. The record was attempted as part of the New Year celebrations in Xi’an City. The character created was 福, pronounced fú and meaning good fortune, happiness or luck. It can also be a surname.
